January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month
Human trafficking is the misuse of other people (through buying and selling). This often happens for the purpose of sexual exploitation or forced labor.

Child trafficking is the buying and selling of kids under the age of 18. Many youth do not see themselves as victims.

Trafficking of children and youth is a growing concern across the nation and right here in our community.
