Harbor House Events
Events throughout the year play an important part in help us raise money to fund programming, educate the community about issues related to domestic abuse, and provide much-needed advocacy and support to individuals and families who have been victimized by domestic violence.
March is Women’s History Month, to celebrate Harbor House hosts our annual Her~Story Luncheon. Come to be inspired as we highlight a number of local women who will share their journeys and also challenge you to look inward at the value and beauty you hold in your story.
This fundraising event will offer the opportunity for networking, personal and professional growth, and to learn more about Harbor House’s services.
Be inspired by what’s possible when we come together to support survivors in our community. You won’t want to miss this! Join us on a week-long journey as a survivor brings her own story into the light and shares her hope for the future.
Purple Porch Project
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month - for the month of October we are asking everyone to switch out their porch light(s) with purple bulbs and/or add purple outdoor lights (flood lights, string lights, etc.)
Our new premier fundraising event is bound to be a treat for all of the senses with exuberant new sensations you won't want to miss. Ultraviolet is all about light. Attendees will experience first hand the power in coming together to shine light for those who need hope and encouragement to see their way through dark times. Participate in an interactive art display, taste flavors you never have before, dance to music your heart yearns to hear and leave with a brighter light than you came.
