In honor of our 30th anniversary, the Pearl Fund was established, the J.J. Keller Foundation generously offered to match donations to Harbor House up to a total of $30,000, and our donors stepped up to meet the challenge. 2014 also saw the completion of our Critter Corner which provides safe, secure accommodation to our residents’ pets.
Harbor House Annual Reports
At Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs, we’re fortunate to receive funding, services, and additional support from our amazing network of individual donors and volunteers, as well as the United Way and other agencies and foundations. We know that our domestic abuse programming would not be possible without this community support, and we do our very best to use these resources to advocate for individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.
If you’d like more detailed information on where this community support comes from and how we use it to affect the lives of those affected by domestic violence, please take a look at our annual reports. These reports provide a breakdown of funding, expenses, and outcomes from our programming – demonstrating how we turn your tremendous support for our organization into services for domestic violence victims and survivors.
In 2013, the Harbor House Shelter Program was over capacity 65% of the year, we had a record 1,195 volunteers sign up to assist us in our efforts, and we launched our Economic Advocacy Program in partnership with COTS and Housing Partnership of the Fox Cities.
